"We would like to give our enthusiastic recommendation to Collins builders. Our experience with them has been phenomenal. We entered a contract for our current house when it was 75% constructed. It is clearly evident that the workmanship throughout the home is that of true craftsmen that take pride in their work. The house simply feels solid and does not have a cheap or prefab feeling. They helped us to choose finishes of our own preference and made very good recommendations for subcontractors for finishes such as closet systems that were superior to what we could find on our own, and for more reasonable estimates. We enjoyed our interactions with them, and they were very open minded and accommodating to our design requests. Our home was completed on time, and passed all inspections without difficulty or modifications. We have now lived in our home for a year and a half and have continued to be very pleased both with the house and our relationship with the builders. We have called them on a few occasions for minor questions. They have always promptly responded and provided assistance whenever possible, although the sale has been completed and they have no obligation to help. We believe this is simply their business ethics and demonstrative of how they value ongoing customer relationships and have pride in their work. I hope this is our forever home, but if we were to ever build another home in Chicago in the future, We would hope to work with them again."
